Hunter Biden reneged on an agreement to attend a public House hearing. Yes, Hunter is a “reneger”. {Just checking Google’s algorithms with that word”.
Anyway, after declaring that a public hearing would give him the best format for his testimony, Hunter decided to play games. He was scheduled to appear on March 20, joined by some of his former business associates. If Hunter Biden is so squeaky clean, one would think he would happily testify; particularly since some of Hunter’s partners have been critical of him. How would Hunter’s testimony compare to that of his business associates?
We all know the answer to this. Still, Biden attorney Abbe Lowell wrote House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., in a letter Wednesday,
“If you are serious about pursuing this oversight purpose in a legitimate and bipartisan fashion, you would hold a hearing with relatives of former President Trump about whom you indicated you ‘would ask.’ If you do, Mr. Biden would consider an invitation for that event,” Lowell wrote.
Hunter won’t show well with his ex-business partners.
These are the people who know the real Hunter Biden; the guy Democrats keep trying to spit-shine as a reformed playboy-turned-Renaissance-artist and all-around good guy.
While nothing has changed with Hunter Biden as he remains a white-privilege crackhead, Democrats attempt to pull a “look over there”, presenting the Trump family as the real crooks.
Lowell brought the Trump family up, explaining how Hunter Biden asked about the Trump family’s financial dealings during the deposition. Comer responded that he would ask the Trump family about it.
But let’s pretend the Trump family is guilty of something. What does that have to do with the Bidens? Nothing, that’s what.
What most amazes me is how Republicans did all that chest-bumping prior to confronting Hunter Biden, yet, they seemed never present the evidence cohesively against him.
Bank records, suspicious activity reports, wires from multiple countries, his Ho problem. And let’s not forget those multiple LLCs. Why wouldn’t Hunter “Joe Biden Super Bowl non-interview” this moment. What an opportunity to get his “truth” out to the very public he wanted to reach originally. Further, if he is as innocent as he proclaims, then why not face his accusers?
Devon Archer, Tony Bobulinski, and Jason Galanis were all on tap to appear at this public hearing. And since Hunter Biden’s testimony contradicts that of all his former business partners and associates, what an opportunity to end this once and for all?
Comer criticized Hunter Biden’s flip,
“Hunter Biden for months stated he wanted a public hearing, but now that one has been offered alongside his business associates that he worked with for years, he is refusing to come,” Comer said.
“Next week’s hearing with Hunter Biden and his associates is moving forward and we fully expect Hunter Biden to participate.”
Biden’s attorney called the hearing a “carnival side show”. Interesting assessment, given the people attending worked directly with Hunter and have dissimilar testimonies. And what of the carnival sideshows Democrats are engaging with Trump?
Lowell called the witnesses “discredited.” Then he attacked the credibility of Bobulinski and Galanis, notably leaving out Archer.
“Tony Bobulinski falsely stated to the FBI that he attended meetings that he was not at,” Lowell wrote. “Jason Galanis, who makes grandiose conclusions about the involvement of Mr. Biden’s father, is serving 14 years in prison for his lies and fraud.”
Galanis was sentenced to prison in 2020 for his role in a market manipulation scheme. Another of Hunter Biden’s stellar partners, who like Devon Archer is in prison. Bobulinski escaped being branded “Biden Partner” by not having profited from his relationship with the Bidens. Lucky for Bobulinski, his relationship with the Bidens ended by them trying to go around him.
Bobulinski through down the gauntlet to Hunter Biden in a statement:
One week from today – on Wednesday, March 20 – I will testify publicly before the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability. I am excited and happy to have the opportunity to once again share the facts with the American people. I am deeply committed to getting the full truth before the nation. To that end, why not have all participants in the hearing be subject to polygraphs, with real time results to be viewed by the American people? What better way to ensure that the truth is being told by every witness, including Joe, Hunter and Jim Biden in any future potential hearings.
I was disappointed to see the news today that Hunter is running away from his chance to tell the American people the truth. He’s been adamant in wanting to go before the American people, and Oversight is now giving him that opportunity. Now is the time to step up, Hunter, as you have said you want to do. Don’t cower in the face of accountability and in this fight for truth and democracy! If by chance March 20th really doesn’t work due to your multiple criminal indictments, please name the date and time and I will be happy to join you at a second hearing for the American people.
How it must feel to have such white privilege
Yes, that’s the real reason Hunter Biden won’t testify. He doesn’t have to. He’s protected by his dad. And the Democrats wonder why they are losing votes? Particularly, the Black vote.
What’s Hunter Biden so scared of? Why the sudden shift? Generally answers are as simple as they seem: Hunter Biden is guilty. That guilt will come out of his mouth eventually if Hunter continues to answer questions publicly. Democrats hope to delay any more Hunter Biden appearances until they can get rid of his old man.
