Donald Trump will honor the slain NYPD officer NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller and mourn with his family. Because unlike those who oppose Trump, he is for law and order and defending the police.
Guy Rivera brutally murdered Officer Diller. Rivera is a career criminal, posting 21 prior arrests for various crimes including assault and drug-related crimes. The lax policies of New York City allowed Rivera to be released time and time again.
While President Trump will attend Officer Diller’s funeral, the New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association (NYCSBA) issued a warning to the City Council. Stay away from the funeral.
The organization blames New York’s politicians for the “end of watch” for Officer Diller; a fate that awaits far too many more officers who will pay the ultimate price for their valor. While law enforcement knows the dangers of their chosen profession, they don’t expect the people in charge to make their lives more difficult and dangerous.

The New York City Sergeants Benevolent Association has warned city council members to skip slain Officer Jonathan Diller’s funeral this weekend – and accused them of being complicit in his death through their “twisted ideology” on policing.
SBA President Vincent J. Vallelong wrote Wednesday that city council members who show up to the Saturday morning service would “shed a few crocodile tears” and use the event as a “good photo opportunity.”
“The Council members who are vehemently and inexplicably against public safety are responsible for the carnage in the streets and the heartbreak brought about by PO Diller’s completely avoidable death,” Vallelong insisted.
It wasn’t that long ago that the NYPD collectively turned their backs on then Mayor Bill de Blasio. In that incident, de Blasio pretended to care about a fallen officer and showed up for a photo op. De Blasio spoke to the backs of many officers at that funeral.
Like almost all cities controlled by Democrats and other Leftists, they are less safe than war zones. In New York for example, they have called in the National Guard to help protect people on the subway. How pathetic.
It’s time we honor the men and women in blue.

Nothing can be done to help Officer Diller. He gave his life in the line of duty. And if he were alive, he would likely do it again. But the real tragedy awaits those he left behind. A wife and a one-year-old son lost a critical part of their family. How many other victims of Rivera are there? And what are their tragic stories?
Bleeding Blue provides a gut-wrenching look at policing in America. Frankly, this film should be seen by all Americans. Hopefully this film can prevent many of these “officer down” tragedies from happening. Also, this film also helps the public. They need to understand the difficulty of this job. Bleeding Blue reminds people of the complexity of the job of law enforcement, and the open resentment many of them feel daily for simply doing jobs most people would never do. Remember, when law enforcement personnel take off the uniform, they become regular citizens.
