The following article, Kamala Harris: Tragic Call to Assure Donors, was first published on The Black Sphere.

Holy Mother of Mayhem, I would hate to be a Democrat. If Biden goes and Harris assumes the throne, talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Despite the media push to elevate Harris from her knees to her back, Harris is more unfit to lead than her demented boss. Still, Harris is the person who got the tap on the shoulder to steady the sinking ship known as USS Bitanic when it comes to fundraising.

According to multiple sources, Harris reported spoke with major Democratic donors on Friday, as concerns mounted over Joe Biden’s ability to win the election in November. Harris appears to be the Democrats’ secret weapon to sooth the nerves of anxious donors.

I’m actually amazed that they chose Harris, for the obvious reasons. First, her utter incompetence, and secondly, Harris is a horrible spokesperson.

Still, a 30-minute call was organized by LinkedIn co-founder and Democratic megadonor Reid Hoffman. And the agenda centered around “urgent, emerging needs”. The call included Harris and “leaders working on the front lines with voters,” according to the New York Times.

In preparation for the call, Reid Hoffman wrote in the email addressed to “friends and allies” organizing the call,

“We continue to find ourselves in a rapidly evolving environment. With the stakes as high as they are this cycle, we have to remain focused on the critical work that needs to be done to protect our democracy.”

Originally, the outlet reported it is unknown what kind of message Harris will tell the donors. Well, apparently the message wasn’t well-received.

Shortly after this meeting, I saw a headline from ABC News that read: Donors furious on call with Harris.

The New York Times reported,

Vice President Kamala Harris tried to buck up the Democratic Party’s biggest donors on Friday, telling about 300 of them that there was little to worry about in President Biden’s campaign.

Ms. Harris spoke to the group at a time of extraordinary turmoil among Democrats, with many hoping that she will replace Mr. Biden as the party’s nominee. But several listeners said they found the meeting overall to be of little value and even, at times, condescending, believing that the message ignored donors’ legitimate concerns about the Biden-led ticket.

This synopsis should surprise no one. Harris is tragic on the stump, so why would anybody expect anything different?

According to the New York Times, the call began as follows:

“I will start by sharing something with all of you,” Ms. Harris told the donors, according to a listener on the call who described her remarks on the condition of anonymity, “something I believe in my heart of hearts. It is something I feel strongly you should all hear and should take with you when you leave. And tell your friends, too. We are going to win this election.”

Harris is as demented as Joe Biden if she believes they will win against Trump. Interestingly, Harris reminds me of John McCain in the era of Obama.

Like McCain, Harris (nor any other Democrat) stands a chance against Trump. The same was true of Republicans in 2008. Truthfully, we had no candidate that would have defeated the persona of Obama, despite the reality of Obama being far from what people conjured of him in their minds.

Obviously, Obama defeated McCain in a landslide. But he went on to govern for 8 horrible years.

The painful difference between Trump and Obama simple: competence of Trump versus the hype of Obama.

Trump’s proven track record as president (not dictator) remains in the muscle-memory of at least 75 million voters who will happily re-up with Trump. But Harris, et al Democrats run on the recent memory of decrepit Joe. And if you think Biden can torpedo an economy and put the world on the brink of disaster, Kamala would say to you, “Hold my beer!”
