The following article, Biden-Harris: Proving Why Democrats are Politically Worthless, was first published on The Black Sphere.
Joe Biden has been on vacation for much of his presidency. Not that it mattered. Because most Americans know that Biden has never been in charge of the country.
Still, Biden is a figurehead. And so one would think he would respect this ceremonial position and at least pretend to work.
Up until the coup, Joe Biden took a lot of vacations. So much so that “fact-checkers” came to his rescue. Look at some of the excuses given for Biden’s numerous days off:
For example, the RNC marked Biden absent February 3-6, 2023. But, according to the president’s public speeches and remarks, he worked for at least part of some of those days.
On February 3, 2023, Biden delivered speeches in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One was on his administration’s efforts to replace lead pipes; the other were remarks at a Democratic National Committee event.
On February 4, 2023, he spoke to reporters at a regional airport, while on February 6, 2023, Biden again answered questions, this time on the White House South Lawn.
The president also was marked on vacation January 13 and January 15-16, 2023, according to the RNC tweet.
But, on the former date, he spoke alongside the prime minister of Japan before a bilateral meeting, and, on the latter two dates, Biden delivered speeches honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Lead Stories reached out to the RNC to ask about the post’s claim and, specifically, about its methodology for calculating the president’s vacation time. We will update this story, as appropriate, if we receive a response. From prior statements, it’s clear the RNC includes time that Biden spends in Delaware and at the Camp David presidential retreat in Maryland in its count.
So Democrats consider it working when you make a phone call or give a speech?
None of that is exactly an 8-hour day. Put another way, I wish any job I had would have allowed such a lax vacation policy.
Post-coup, nothing has changed for Biden. He has spent weeks on the beach. In one picture, I saw Biden on the phone. So you can bet Democrats will claim that he was hard at work.
Biden has missed so many days, even Democrats are beginning to wonder who’s running the country. But does it really matter?
Biden is out and Harris is in. In effect, nothing has changed. Clearly the country doesn’t miss the presence of either of them. And frankly, America is better off without them.
Take a look at Harris’ record.
If this graphic is true, Harris doesn’t work weekends. So if she were to become president (and she won’t), we’d better hope the sh*t doesn’t hit the fan on a weekend.
But let’s look at her other time off by job:
Harris took 9 weeks of vacation and other time off as a Deputy DA.
As San Francisco DA, she took roughly 12 weeks of vacation and other time off.
As a Senator, she showed up to work 55 percent of the time. Could you keep your job with that attendance record?
Finally as VP, Harris continued her laziness. One can only imagine how many days off Harris will take if she were to become a bigger figurehead than Joe Biden.
Who needs another 4 years of a cabal running the country? Certainly not America.
Bring on Trump.
According to Axios, Trump has a two-part day:
According to the report, the president has designated “Executive Time” from 8:00 to 11:00 in the Oval Office, but actually spends these hours in his residence watching television, making phone calls and tweeting.
At about 11:00, the president emerges for his first meeting of the day, which is typically an intelligence briefing.
During the day he has a couple of meetings, with several breaks of “Executive Time” interspersed, and returns to the residence at about 18:00, says Axios.
(…)
Unlike Mr Reagan, who had to “slow down” at the end of his presidency, Mr Trump shows no signs of slackening the pace.
Tweets are sent from his account in the early hours of the morning and late at night.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to the Axios report with a statement defending the president’s work ethic:
“The time in the morning is a mix of residence time and Oval Office time, but he always has calls with staff, Hill members, cabinet members and foreign leaders during this time. The President is one of the hardest workers I’ve ever seen and puts in long hours and long days nearly every day of the week all year long. It has been noted by reporters many times that they wish he would slow down because they sometimes have trouble keeping up with him.“
And unlike many of President Trump’s peers, he actually worked with a mission. And that mission served the American people and not the elites.
