The following article, Trump’s Resurgence and Reckoning, was first published on The Black Sphere.

One election changed everything. We learned this year that elections are not about political parties, i.e. Democrat or Republican. It’s about truth versus lies, pragmatism versus fanaticism.

Harris had no real shot of winning. And despite her posturing, her political career is over. Much has changed in this one election, as the world tilted “right” on its axis. We left Bizarro World and are now back to facing reality.

Imagine the other timeline. Kamala Harris as president. What are we discussing? Probably a new federal agency dedicated to deciphering her speeches. She’d call it the “Circular Logic Bureau.”

“We must, together, work together to do the work of working together.”

Kamala 2024: Because coherence is so last century.

If you think Biden had a cabinet of freaks and pikers, imagine what Harris would have offered up.

Imagine international diplomacy under her. China would roll their eyes while she explains how “clocks and time zones are, like, very important to global relations.”

The Changing of the Guard

On the Democratic side, the old guard is falling—literally. Pelosi just broke her hip; Nature’s way of saying, “Get the f*ck out, Nancy!”

Chuck Schumer’s days are numbered, too. At this point, he’s just a placeholder for the next generation of dysfunction. The Democrats are so desperate they’re floating AOC for leadership. Yes, AOC—because nothing screams stability like someone who thought the world would end in 12 years… eight years ago.

On RINOs and Republican Realignment
Not even Mitch McConnell can escape the purge. McConnell’s “working from home” is basically a polite way of saying, “He’s in hospice.”

Media Meltdown

The media is in full panic mode. George Stephanopoulos is reportedly in hiding—too embarrassed to admit he once gloated about a Trump downfall that never came. Jake Tapper?

Tapper is apparently stuck in existential dread over Trump’s lawsuits. The same Jake who once chuckled at the phrase “enemy of the people” is now Googling “defamation law for dummies.”

Even Not-So-Sunny Hostin of The View had a rare moment of honesty recently, as she admitted that Democrats are “out of touch.” Well, congratulations, Sunny—you’ve reached the starting line of self-awareness.

The Biden Administration’s “Greatest Hits”

Let’s talk about Biden. Or, as I like to call him, the Commander-in-Zzz. His administration has been the political equivalent of a retirement home talent show. Biden didn’t just check out mentally; he forgot to leave the hotel key, and left his luggage in the lobby.

Biden is so checked out that his staff is free to criticize him.

Blinken called Afghanistan a “stain” on their record. That’s like saying the Titanic had a “small dent.” Afghanistan was an unmitigated full-blown disaster. And Jill Biden? She’s retiring. Actually, we the people retired her from her First Lady duties. Perhaps now she’s retiring from “supportive spouse” to Joe’s “caretaker.”

I talked recently on my radio show about people saying Trump changed. Patently not true. Trump didn’t change.

He’s the same guy from 2016. Brash, bold, awkward in his delivery of information, pompous, direct, and so on. The world is finally catching up to baseline common sense. Thus, they are recognizing what leadership looks like: bold, unapologetic, and effective. And that terrifies the Left because deep down, they know they can’t compete with competency.

Business Leaders Kissing the Ring

Now, let’s talk about the pivot. Suddenly, all the folks who sabotaged Trump in 2020 are lining up to pay homage. People like Amazon’s Jeff Bezos. He declared Trump, a “changed man.” The man who bought WaPo to target Trump, and now he’s asking for meetings and donating to Trump inauguration. Remind me again who changed?

Bezos is joined by many others who plotted against Trump, but now come to Mar-a-Lago bearing gifts. Zuckerberg joins Bezos as a Trump detractor-turned-benefactor. He should know that he’s being watched.

Regardless of how many of these Silicon Valley juggernauts thought of Trump before, clearly things have changed.

This election result feels like 9-12.

Remember the day after 9-11? When America came together, albeit briefly? After Nov 5, America is taking a collective breath. We’ve needed to do this to compensate for four years of Leftist chaos. Joe Biden and team flew planes into our economy, our borders, and our psyche, metaphorically. And for once, both sides are relieved to see adults back in the room.

Sadly, like with 9-12 the euphoria won’t last. Democrats will revert to their tricks, and their media minions will sharpen their knives in preparation to backstab President Trump. That’s why this moment is so critical. Trump and the MAGA movement have four years to not just fix what’s broken but to solidify a movement that outlives his presidency.
