After Rosa Parks was arrested for simply not wanting to get back on her sore feet, just so a white person could sit there, a spark was lit, eventually leading to the civil rights act. Ida B Wells was a former slave who became one of the founders of The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). She recorded the horrors that were happening to black people, exposing it to the wider world.

[WEEKEND RECAP 01-18-25] Republicans are in unfamiliar territory. Sure Trump won in 2016, but that took everybody by surprise. And while RINOs worked against Trump while he was president and in the 4-year coup-gap, they saw the writing on the wall for 2024. Now they find themselves in uncharted waters. They actually control all of government and have the opportunity to set the agenda.
