Let’s start with the absurdity of our beef trade. America imports $3 billion worth of beef from Australia, yet Australia refuses to buy our beef to protect its own ranchers. So, riddle me this: how does it make economic sense to ship cattle thousands of miles across the Pacific and still sell it cheaper than beef raised in our own backyard? That’s like bottling American water, shipping it to Sydney, and buying it back at a discount.
