Their 2024 campaign? It wasn’t about helping Americans. It was one long primal scream of “Trump is coming for revenge!” — a desperate attempt to frame every future prosecution of their actual crimes as mere payback. Case in point: Letitia James, New York’s disgrace of an Attorney General.
The woman ran her campaign vowing (AP News) to “get Trump,” not enforce the law impartially. Now that her own office’s slimy misconduct is under federal investigation, her defense is to shriek “Retribution!” louder than a drunk sorority girl being kicked out of a nightclub. Reminder: wasn’t no one supposed to be above the law?
