The following article, Leftist Grifters: The Hypocrisy of Self-Serving Elites, was first published on The Black Sphere.

The modern leftist movement claims to champion the downtrodden, fight for the marginalized, and dismantle systemic inequality. Yet, time and again, its most prominent figures are exposed as self-serving opportunists who manipulate the very systems they claim to oppose.

From corrupt bureaucrats to entitled activists, these individuals mock the principles of fairness and accountability while enriching themselves at the public’s expense. Their actions reveal a disturbing pattern: leftist elites don’t care about the people—they care about power, privilege, and personal gain.

Frontier Airlines Fires Employees Who Refused to Do Their Jobs

The incident occurred last week at Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina and involved a 45-year-old married father of three, whose identity remains unknown, who was checking in for a flight to Boston after a business trip.

Frontier Airlines confirmed to Newsweek that it’s aware of the incident and that the individuals involved were terminated.

Speaking to the New York Post on Wednesday, the man said he had arrived at the airport around 50 minutes before his flight but was unable to check in as he had missed a 60-minute pre-departure window, something he was unaware of. He was then told that he needed to pay a $25 fee to check in.

“They all kind of started chiming in, ‘Well, you should have checked the website.’ Like not in a professional or polite way. They were like, ‘It was your fault for not checking the website. Sorry, it’s on you,’” the man told the Post before he said he decided to start filming.

California’s Homelessness Executive: Corruption at Taxpayer Expense

If there’s a textbook example of leftist hypocrisy, it’s Dr. Va Lecia Adams Kellum, the former CEO of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA). While California’s homelessness crisis spirals out of control—with tent cities, drug epidemics, and rampant crime—Kellum was busy enriching herself. She drew an outrageous salary of $430,000 per year—more than the U.S. president—while homelessness in LA worsened. But her greed didn’t stop there.

Investigations revealed that Kellum funneled millions of dollars into her husband’s sham nonprofit, effectively laundering public funds into her own family’s coffers. When questioned about her lavish spending—including demanding taxpayers fund an open bar at her holiday parties—she retaliated by firing the whistleblowers. To cover her tracks, she allegedly destroyed public records and approved $800,000 in hush money to silence critics.

Kellum’s case is a microcosm of leftist governance: preach compassion, exploit the system, and punish those who dare to expose the truth. Meanwhile, the homeless population—the very people she was paid to help—continued to suffer.

State Department Employee Stole $657K—Because Why Not?

Levita Farrar, a former State Department employee under the Biden administration, recently pleaded guilty to stealing $657,000 from U.S. taxpayers. Her scheme was brazen: she printed and signed 60 fraudulent checks to herself, then falsified records to hide the theft. Now facing up to 10 years in prison, Farrar’s sentencing is set for September 2025.

What’s most galling is how easily she exploited her position. While ordinary Americans struggled with inflation and stagnant wages under Biden, Farrar treated government funds as her personal slush fund. Her case raises serious questions: How many more like her are still embedded in federal agencies? And why does leftist rhetoric about “equity” never seem to apply to their own corruption?

These activities are not just stories, but trends. And they aren’t just about greed, but also about treasonous collusion. While leftist politicians lecture Americans about “democracy under threat,” some of their own are directly compromised by hostile foreign regimes. The hypocrisy is staggering.

The Leftist Playbook: Exploit, Enrich, Silence

These stories share a common thread: leftist elites weaponize their ideology to justify corruption. They preach “social justice” while engaging in nepotism, embezzlement, and outright fraud. They demand accountability for others but rig the system in their favor. And when caught, they bully whistleblowers, destroy evidence, or pay hush money—anything to avoid consequences.

Over the next four years, as investigations deepen, expect many more scandals to emerge. The real question is: Will the left finally admit its hypocrisy, or will it keep pretending its elites are saints?

For now, the evidence is clear: These aren’t public servants. They’re parasites. And the American people are done footing the bill.
