The following article, The Biden Grift That Keeps on Grifting, was first published on The Black Sphere.
Conservatives have one fatal flaw when it comes to power: we actually care about solving problems. And in today’s political economy, that’s not a business model—it’s a charity case.
Politics today is the most profitable grift in the history of civilization. In the old days, we used to reward problem-solvers; now we punish them.
The American spirit was built on invention and industry—solving real problems with real work. Need to get crops to market? Build roads. Need to grow an economy? Start businesses. Need to keep the grifters at bay? Form a government to regulate the cons.
And then came the twist: the government didn’t just join the con, it perfected it.
Both parties now put on a Broadway-level production pretending they care about the “little guy.” Republicans act like they’re fighting the swamp, and Democrats act like they’re saving democracy. However, both parties insider trade to buy their second and third (or more) homes, fancy sports cars, and much more at taxpayer expense.
Despite this mutual grift, Donald J. Trump managed to shove a wrench into the machine. Against all odds, Trump managed to win re-election.
That win gave Republicans relevance, as he reanimated the base by getting results. And what did he get in return? Backstabbing and silence from the GOP establishment, who would rather eat gluten than ride the Trump wave to actual reform. If political cowardice were an Olympic sport, Mitch McConnell and many other so-called Republicans would have multiple gold medals.
And while Republicans abandon Trump, the Democrats launched their latest salvo: “Trump Is Unfit for Office”. In what likely used up their remaining USAID funds, Democrats are trying to get this trending on social media.
The man who is the poster child of transparency, goes to bed late, gets up early, and has a record of success that’s unchallenged in the modern era is said to be “unfit” by Democrats. I guess when you consider how badly Trump blew up the Democrats’ grift machine, you understand why they want him declared unfit.
Add to this the very real irony and hypocrisy of Joe Biden—yes, the man who makes Weekend at Bernie’s look like a documentary. We’re supposed to pretend that he was fit for office. The same guy who can’t find his way off stage after his speeches, reads teleprompters like they’re Choose Your Own Adventure novels, and has more handlers than a UFC champion.
Support for Biden showcases not just hypocrisy; it’s a full-blown parody.
Joe Biden destroyed Trump’s first economy. Then, he handed him a losing hand with his own economy. Still, under Trump’s leadership, even with a trade war in motion, we saw legitimate signs of improvement.
CNN (yes, that CNN) reported that the economy added 177,000 new jobs, crushing expectations of 135,000. Restaurants, hotels, and private education all grew. Government jobs? Slashed.
And what did CNBC do with that news? They ran this gem of a headline:
“Private payroll growth slowed to 62,000 in April, well below expectations.”
Because nothing says “job growth” like a complete refusal to count the whole picture. Ignore the fact that the government cut thousands of jobs and the private sector still overperformed. Narrative is everything.
It’s like announcing a new record low in burglaries, but lamenting that locksmiths might lose work.
Now, for a brief interlude in irony: the day Al Gore was born, there were roughly 7,000 polar bears on Earth. Today? Approximately 26,000. The only thing melting faster than Gore’s credibility is Biden’s short-term memory.
And here’s a stat you’re not likely to see blasted on CNN’s ticker: government spending dropped 5.1% in the first quarter under Trump’s policies. A drop so rare you’d need a paleontologist to confirm it.
But while the numbers paint a different story, the media is committed to protecting the illusion. Like a magician’s assistant distracting the crowd, the press keeps your eyes on the smoke while ignoring the guy setting your house on fire.
Now let’s talk about law enforcement—where common sense goes to die in California. Belmont PD had a rape suspect on their hands. The problem: they hired him.
Other chiefs warned not to hire the man. He got hired anyway. Maybe because in progressive California, vetting a police officer is somehow more offensive than defunding the police. But here’s the real irony. The new PD officer/rapist is an illegal. I guess there weren’t enough local rapists? Or is this the job that Americans don’t want to do?
LA Sheriff Alex Villanueva saw the writing on the wall and left the Democrat Party after 44 years.

If that isn’t crazy enough, a CA sheriff recently had to come out against a bill that would allow criminals to sue their victims. Yes, you read that right. Commit a crime, get caught, then sue the person you tried to rob for the trauma of getting tackled. It’s the legal equivalent of slipping on a knife you brought to a mugging and suing for emotional distress.
The sons of a man who was fatally shot by sheriff’s deputies after he stabbed an elderly woman are suing L.A. County and two deputies for wrongful death. https://t.co/6WFqi09spe pic.twitter.com/zLCVYNv3FW

This is the world we live in. Where the criminals write the laws, the media writes the fan fiction, and honest conservatives are left looking like the only sober guy at a frat party trying to explain that kegs don’t refill themselves.
Conservatives must stop playing by the old rules. The game has changed. It’s no longer about solving problems—it’s about appearing to care while funneling cash through the problem pipeline.
If we want to win, we can’t just be the adults in the room; clearly the room is on fire and the Democrats are selling marshmallows.
