Joy Reid “Barely Hanging On” – And MSNBC Already Cut the Rope
Are Democrats finally purging their most insufferable ranks—specifically, the loudest, least self-aware Black Leftist women? If so, the act might be the shrewdest political move they’ve made in decades.
I’ve long argued that the worst citizens in America are Leftist Black women—not because of their race or gender, but because of their unshakable commitment to toxic, race-obsessed, America-loathing dogma. And Joy Reid? She’s Exhibit A.
Now, fresh off her unceremonious MSNBC firing (more on that later), Reid is throwing a public tantrum, threatening to leave the Democratic Party. But let’s be real—where else would she go? The Communists? The Green Party? The “I Yell at Clouds” Party?
Reid’s Latest Meltdown: “The Democrats Aren’t Leftist Enough for Me!”
In a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club—because nothing says “serious political commentary” like a show where hosts argue over who makes the best wings—Reid whined about her fading loyalty to the Dems.
“I’m not willing to cede the country to Trumpism and MAGA simply because I’m clinging to this party…the party is not bigger than the future of my kids.”
Ah, the classic “Think of the children!” plea—except Reid’s version is less “save the kids” and more “indoctrinate the kids.” She then dropped this gem:
“Fascism don’t work for me.”
First, grammar. Second, irony—considering Reid spent years shrieking about “disinformation” while peddling conspiracy theories herself. Remember when she claimed Russia hacked the Vermont power grid? Or when she apologized for old homophobic blog posts she initially denied writing?
But sure, Joy. Fascism is the problem. Not your own credibility crisis.
The Real Reason MSNBC Fired Her: Nobody Was Watching
Reid’s show, The ReidOut, was axed in February during MSNBC’s post-election bloodbath—a purge that suspiciously targeted many of their non-white hosts. Coincidence? Maybe. But more likely, MSNBC finally admitted what viewers already knew: Joy Reid is insufferable.
Her ratings were in freefall. Her schtick—angry, race-baiting monologues delivered with the subtlety of a sledgehammer—had worn thin. Even Leftists got tired of her.
According to TVNewser, The ReidOut saw a steady decline in viewership, with Reid failing to capture the same audience as her predecessors.
But instead of self-reflection, Reid’s response is classic Leftist deflection: “It’s not me—it’s the system!”
Reid’s Dream Team: AOC and Crockett (Because What Could Go Wrong?)
Reid’s big gripe? Democrats aren’t radical enough. She wants the party to ditch its “orderly” ways and embrace full-throated Leftism—specifically, by elevating Rep. Jasmine Crockett, a woman whose idea of “effective leadership” is mocking Republicans with “bleach blonde, bad-built” insults. Reid said of Crockett:
“If Jasmine Crockett is the most effective fighter, give me Jasmine Crockett. And I really don’t care what you have to move around or who you have to disappoint in order to give me her.”
Translation: “Burn the party down if you have to—just make sure my fringe favorites get power!”
She also threw in AOC for good measure, but let’s be honest—Reid doesn’t care about AOC. She just needed a recognizable non-white name to hide behind while pushing Crockett, a walking PR disaster.
Karine Jean-Pierre’s Exit: A Warning Sign Reid Ignores
Reid shrugged off former Biden press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s recent departure from the Democratic Party, saying:
“Who cares what the party label is?”
Spoken like someone who’s never had an original thought. The truth? The Democratic Party is hemorrhaging Black women because even they’re tired of its performative wokeness. But Reid, ever the ideologue, can’t see the forest for the burning dumpster fire.
Reid’s Career Died of Self-Inflicted Wounds
Joy Reid is indeed a victim…of Joy Reid. She represents a cautionary tale for women in general, and Black women in specific.
She spent years peddling divisive rhetoric, ignoring facts that didn’t fit her narrative, and alienating anyone who dared disagree. And now? She’s unemployed, even more irrelevant, and reduced to begging for scraps on a podcast.
The funniest part? She still doesn’t get it. She blames Democrats, MSNBC, “fascism”—anyone but herself.
But the truth is simple: I repeat: Joy Reid killed Joy Reid’s career. And until she sobers up, she’ll keep fading into the obscurity she so richly deserves.
