Take the Wall Street Journal, currently scrambling to settle with Trump over their Epstein hit piece. CBS already lost their lawsuit and had to cancel The Late Show—though, let’s be honest, the show flatlined years ago. Colbert’s been recycling the same smug Weekend Update shtick since 2007, only now with fewer laughs and more deranged Trump obsession.

But the real comedy gold? Watching Democrats like Corey Booker issue “wake-up calls” to his party. It’s like a fire alarm blaring in a burning building while the residents argue about whether the flames are problematic.

Universities, he called ‘bastions of free speech’. Really? Bastions of Left-speak is what he meant to say.

Indeed. Harvard, Yale, and Berkeley aren’t exactly hosting Federalist Society debates unless they’re being shouted down by a mob of gender-studies majors. And Booker’s pearl-clutching over “businesses taking late-night shows off the air” (a lie, by the way) while ignoring CBS’s cancellation? Classic misdirection. The Left loves to whine about “mergers paying tribute” (likely a swipe at Trump’s tariffs) while ignoring that their own policies have turned corporate America into a DEI compliance factory.

Bottom line: Trump’s policies don’t just disrupt—they obliterate. And the Left? They’re still trying to figure out if they should blame him or the patriarchy.

Hypocrisy: The Left’s Renewable Energy Source

If hypocrisy were energy, the Left could power three Californias and two Texases. The double standards are so glaring, you’d need welding goggles to look directly at them.

Exhibit A: Tariffs

  • Trump imposes tariffs? “Economic illiteracy! Trade war! The sky is falling!”

  • Biden does the same thing? “Strong leadership! Standing up to China!”

  • Reality: Trump’s tariffs worked. Biden’s are just plagiarism with worse delivery.

Exhibit B: Media Bias

  • The View’s guest list: 102 leftists, zero conservatives in seven months. At this point, calling it a “talk show” is generous—it’s more like a support group for people who still think Hillary had a chance.

  • If Fox News did this? “Fascist propaganda! Dangerous echo chamber!” But when The View does it? “Important conversations!”

Exhibit C: Selective Outrage

  • Black mob attacks white people? “Kids being kids!”

  • White kid wears a MAGA hat? “Literally Hitler!”

  • George Floyd riots ($2B in damage)? “Mostly peaceful!”

The Left’s Rulebook:

Symbolizing Leftism to a tee, the “players” in the LNBA want “equal pay” for a product nobody watches. The NBA subsidizes them like a failing college gender studies department. Solution? Let them earn their keep.

If they want ‘fair pay,’ how about ‘fair revenue’? Oh wait, that would mean playing in high school gyms.

The WNBA loses money every year, yet they demand salaries comparable to NBA players who generate billions. It’s like a lemonade stand demanding the same profits as Coca-Cola—except with worse ratings.

How does Trump impact this? Well, the removal of DEI and return to meritocracy. Still don’t get it. Well, try this: Caitlan Clark is the Donald Trump of the WNBA. Straight, white, competent, and blowing away her Black predecessors.

Late-Night ‘Comedy’ (And I Use the Term Loosely)

The situation with the LNBA reminds me of Colbert. His show loses $40M a year because it’s as funny as reading obituaries. But instead of changing the format or subject matter, Colbert doubled down on Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Meanwhile, Trump’s lawsuits are turning media companies into cautionary tales. CBS folded. WSJ is sweating. Who’s next? MSNBC? (One can dream.) And what about the glorious end to PBS and NPR?

The ‘Mostly Peaceful’ Double Standard

  • Portland: Antifa beats a journalist unconscious. DA’s response? “No charges—free speech!”

  • Chicago: Mobs of teens attack random whites. Media framing? “Just youthful exuberance!”

  • Cincinnati: Three old jazz fans get jumped. Outrage level? Zero. But if it were a MAGA hat incident? Anderson Cooper would be hyperventilating into a paper bag.

Leftist justice in a nutshell:

  • If you’re on their side, you get a pass.

  • If you’re not, you get the book thrown at you—followed by the bookshelf, the library, and a New York Times op-ed about why you deserved it.

Jerome Powell: The Fed Chairman Who Can’t Read the Room

Let’s talk about Jerome Powell, the Federal Reserve Chairman who at this point looks less like a steward of monetary policy and more like a guy who keeps trying to fix a leaky faucet with a sledgehammer.

While Powell’s been clutching his interest rate pearls like they’re the last lifeboat on the Titanic, the economy keeps doing this hilarious thing called winning.

  • GDP? A rock-solid 3% for Q2, while the so-called “experts” predicted 2.4%.

  • Consumer spending? Blowing past expectations like Trump blows past media narratives.

  • Stock market? Rallying like it’s 1987, 1999, and 2017 all at once—giving Powell the middle finger in ticker-tape form.

And yet, Powell’s keeping rates high like a bartender who refuses to serve water to a guy dying of thirst. “But inflation!” he cries. Meanwhile, Wells Fargo just raised its S&P target because reality doesn’t care about his feelings.

History will remember this era as the time when actions—actual, measurable results—finally drowned out the hysterics of the perpetually wrong. The Left’s narratives are collapsing, their media shield-wall is in ruins, and their hypocrisy is on full display.

As for Powell? He finally got with the program and will drop interest rates. But too little too late for how he will be remembered. I’m only shocked the president didn’t give him a nickname before banishing him.
