Jack Smith—yet another political stuntman flinging himself off the cliff of legality in the hope that Biden and the Democrats would catch him.
Jack Smith sealed his fate the moment he accepted the assignment to “get Trump.” Not investigate. Not prosecute. Get him. The directive came stamped with the Democrats’ favorite patriotic slogan: “Preserve Our Democracy
.”
(Translation: “Ignore the Constitution, do crimes, ruin lives, and blame Trump.”)
But Smith took the mission. And, just like his Leftist predecessors, he achieved the standard Democrat outcome for anyone stupid enough to attack Donald Trump:
Self-inflicted, career-ending, reputation-obliterating devastation.
The political Left can’t help themselves. They have a kind of ideological death wish.
The Email That Blew Up the Narrative
A lightly redacted email—because the DOJ now treats transparency like it’s fentanyl—allegedly exposes Biden’s special counsel Jack Smith ignoring legal warnings that his subpoenas were unconstitutional.
Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson publicized it, because someone in Washington has to act like adults while the rest cosplay as revolutionaries.
Grassley wrote on X:
“See advice given 2Jack Smith’s team frm Biden’s ‘Public Integrity Section’ in 2023 Smith is warned there r constitutional guardrails for subpoenaing members of Cong but Biden DOJ gave him green light anyway.”
Now, when Grassley says “green light,” understand: Democrats don’t give green lights. They only give red flags. This was one of them.
Smith was warned explicitly about the Speech and Debate Clause—the part of the Constitution that says Congress can’t be harassed by rogue prosecutors looking to make MSNBC squeal.
Principal Deputy Chief John D. Keller sent Smith an email saying there was “some litigation risk” in subpoenaing lawmakers’ phone records. Translation:
“Jack, this is illegal.”
He might as well have attached a sticky note reading: “DO NOT TOUCH. THIS WILL BLOW UP IN YOUR FACE.”
Smith touched it anyway.
Of course he did. He’s a Democrat. These people see a live electrical socket and think, “I bet Trump is in there.”
When Your Own Lawyers Tell You It’s Illegal, Believe Them
Keller spelled it out:
“There is some litigation risk regarding whether compelled disclosure of toll records of a Member’s legislative calls violates the Speech or Debate Clause…”
That’s legalese for:
“Jack, this is unconstitutional, dumb, reckless, and also unconstitutional. Did we mention unconstitutional?”
Keller even went further, noting that the caselaw was clear that Members of Congress could intervene and oppose the subpoenas.
Smith read that and thought: “Perfect. Let’s do 45 of them.”
Why? Because Democrats operate under a spiritual doctrine: If we break the law loudly enough, the media will call it a virtue.
But Keller’s final line is the real smoking gun:
“[T]he litigation risk should be minimal as the lawmakers themselves would never be charged.”
Let that marinate. Smith was advised that his subpoenas were likely illegal—but it wouldn’t really matter, because the victims wouldn’t be charged anyway.
Imagine cops breaking down your door, stealing your TV, and saying, “Relax—you’re not under arrest.” This is the DOJ under Biden: crime without consequence… unless you’re Trump or you voted for him.
Grassley summarized it perfectly:
“Jack Smith conducted a massive partisan dragnet aimed at crippling the Republican Party and eliminating political opposition.”
And he’s right. The subpoenas targeted at least a quarter of Senate Republicans. Twenty-five percent. That’s not an investigation—that’s a purge.
Arctic Frost: A Fittingly Stupid Name for a Fittingly Corrupt Operation
The name of Smith’s operation? Arctic Frost. Honestly, these people really think they’re Avengers.
Arctic Frost targeted Trump allies who dared to question the 2020 election—an election Biden “won” through the miracle of overnight counting, unmonitored drop boxes, and millions of mail-in ballots delivered with the urgency of a bored postal worker on muscle relaxers.
This investigation was designed to “freeze out” anyone who cared about election integrity.
You know, the thing Democrats insisted was “under attack” when Trump won… but is “perfectly secure” when Biden needed the most elaborate ballot-acquisition strategy in American history. Arctic Frost was the Left’s way of saying:
“If you ask questions, we’ll investigate you. If you don’t ask questions, we’ll rule you.”
Democrats hate when people follow the law. It ruins their plans.
The Left Has the Moral Compass of a Broken Shopping Cart
No American is surprised by these revelations. And no Democrat cares. Because the Left operates under a belief system best described as:
“If we do it, it’s justice. If you do it, it’s treason.”
These people think the Constitution is a group project they can opt out of.
