Trump, Kevin Jackson

The following article, Trump Stole From the Harris-Walz Campaign, was first published on The Black Sphere.

Democrats say that Donald Trump is a bad man. But he’s never been called a thief. At least not until now.

The Democrats aren’t calling Trump a thief, I am. Recall that not that long ago Kamala Harris declared that she would bring joy to the political campaign. Of course, this came after she and the Democratic Party bludgeoned Biden to his political death.

But Biden’s brutal beatdown notwithstanding, Democrats gave America a young and vibrant new candidate. So what Harris was actually a retread of a candidate soundly defeated years earlier, and by most standards was declared “the worst VP in modern history”. The new narrative was that Kamala would bring joy.

Part of the strategy was to introduce Harris as a round the way girl or the girl next door. She was no different than any woman in America, just trying to break through that glass ceiling.

So what she was born to an Indian mother and a Jamaican father and raised in Canada? If Elizabeth Warren and Rachel Dolezal taught us anything, it’s you can be whatever you want to be. Or in the case of Harris, be whoever you want to be depending on the audience.

As we would learn, repeatedly, Harris was born into a middle-class family. Her mother raised her and her sister, well…you know the thing. And no matter what question Harris was asked, we were told, repeatedly, that Harris was raised middle-class, yada yada. When pressed for real answers, Harris would become defensive and then break into a cackle.

After many instances of “the cackle”, the campaign realized they needed more than the young, “Black”, Indian woman trying to break through the patriarchal glass ceiling. Thus, in order to use the cackle, the cabal declared that Harris would bring joy.

Dreams and Aspirations

In each interview and rally speech, we were told that Harris would bring us joy; that she would allow us to pursue our “dreams and aspirations”.

What Did Trump Steal? Kamala’s “joy”, Silly.

These days, Kamala Harris doesn’t seem quite so joyous. She’s taken Americans from our dreams and aspirations to attacking Trump as Hitler? Suddenly the joy seems to have left her campaign.

It’s not just me who has seen the Kamala Harris campaign take a noticeable shift from its early message of aspiration and positivity to a more defensive, combative tone. Initially, her speeches often celebrated all the buzz words of Leftists, things like diversity and opportunity, aiming to connect with Americans’ aspirations for a better future. But no longer is she speaking in these aspirational tones.

Apparently, the internal polling she lovingly refers to has caused a shift. Her falling approval ratings, fundraising difficulties, and intense competition from her beloved challenger has caused her to shift from bringing joy to America, to trying to convince Americans that Trump will bring the pain.

Ironically, her earlier “joyful warrior” image which she hoped would resonate with Americans proved difficult to sustain when she found herself under the pressure of answering simple questions. Here’s a hypothetical Q&A:

Q: “What will you do Day One of your presidency?”

A: “What we should be concerned about is what will Donald Trump do Day One. He wants to persecute his opponents, and arrest citizens for just being patriots. And he will destroy women’s reproductive rights!”

Kamala Harris has gained no traction, nor has her running mate. Faced with polarized reactions and a difficult political landscape, Harris’s campaign has pivoted to a rhetoric that emphasizes countering her opponents rather than solely inspiring her base. In other words, Harris realized that her “born to a middle-class family” and “dreams and aspirations” drivel wasn’t selling.

As Van Jones warned, you can’t alienate the people you’re trying to win over.

Don’t expect Kamala Harris to exhibit much joy between now and election time.

Because no amount of voter theft will get her the win. Worse, all the cheating will expose the dirty secret to how Democrats win and allow Trump to plug many holes.

Again, Democrats’ desperation will mark their doom.
