Democrats are finally suffering from the “Chicken Little” effect—but on steroids, fentanyl, and whatever MSNBC prescribes to keep its hosts upright.

They’ve screamed apocalypse so many times that the public could watch a mushroom cloud bloom over the DNC Headquarters and still assume it’s a TikTok filter. They lie so compulsively, with such industrial efficiency, that Americans have developed herd immunity. Nobody believes anything they say. Nor should they.

And now, with their credibility stripped for scrap like a stolen catalytic converter, the Democrats are entering the stage of desperation usually reserved for contestants on COPS reruns—the moment when panic overrides intelligence and the perpetrator implicates himself while trying to blame everyone else.

Recently, I wrote that Democrats are so out of lies, so tapped out of their usual identity-politics scratch-off cards, that they did the unthinkable: They stopped pulling the race card.
