For years, Democrats have told us a fairy tale.

They’ve insisted that Americans secretly oppose immigration enforcement. That ICE is some rogue agency hated by the public. That the people blocking agents, harassing officers, and waving pre-printed signs are the moral majority.

That story just blew up. Perhaps somebody should explain this to political hack Bill Maher?

Newly released polling shows what anyone with common sense already knew: Americans overwhelmingly support ICE and want criminals removed from this country, and they want agents allowed to do their jobs without interference.

According to a survey by Plymouth Union Public Research, 57% of Americans say ICE agents should be able to do their job without being impeded or harassed. Not “sometimes.” Not “with restrictions written by activists.” Allowed. To. Do. Their. Job.

That number alone exposes the scam.

For all the noise, the chanting, the staged outrage, the professionally printed protest signs that somehow materialize five minutes after a news alert, the majority of Americans are saying something very simple: leave law enforcement alone and let them enforce the law.

And that support isn’t vague or accidental.

The survey examined public views on President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda and found broad agreement that illegal immigration is a serious issue the government should confront. Not study. Not reframe. Not rename. Confront.

The poll’s conclusion says it plainly:

“Voters broadly see illegal immigration as a serious issue that President Trump is properly addressing.”

That sentence alone detonates years of Democratic gaslighting.

While the Left pretends enforcement is cruel, voters see it as necessary. While Democrats posture, Americans see a president doing the job they elected him to do. And while activists scream about feelings, voters are focused on outcomes.

The survey also highlights something Democrats desperately want to bury: support for enforcement extends directly to the officers carrying it out.

Not just the policy. The people.

According to the findings:

“Support extends to ICE officers enforcing these policies. Voters emphasize respect for their service and the need to let them do their jobs.”

This matters, because the Left’s strategy has been to separate the uniform from the human being. Dehumanize the agent. Turn federal officers into villains. Encourage harassment, obstruction, and intimidation, all while pretending it’s “peaceful protest.”

But voters aren’t buying it.

The same survey notes that organized efforts to obstruct enforcement draw limited sympathy and appear confined to a small but vocal slice of the electorate.

Translation: the protests are loud, theatrical, and politically useful, but they are not representative of America. They’re astroturf. And Americans can smell plastic grass.

Border enforcement also ranked high as a national priority.

Seventy-four percent of respondents said fighting illegal immigration is an important issue for both President Trump and Congress to address. Only 7% said it was not important at all. A measly 7 percent.

That’s not a movement. That’s a niche hobby.

And when voters were asked about the risks ICE agents face, the answers got even more decisive.

  • 58% said ICE agents put their lives on the line to keep the public safe.

  • 57% said ICE agents have the dangerous job of keeping us safe from violent criminals.

  • 51% explicitly approve of using ICE agents to combat illegal immigration.

This is the part Democrats never want discussed.

ICE isn’t chasing landscapers. ICE is dealing with cartels, traffickers, violent offenders, and criminal networks. Americans understand that. They understand danger. They understand risk. And they understand that someone has to do the job.

Which brings us back to the core truth Democrats can’t escape:

Americans want criminals removed.

Not debated. Not excused. Not released on court dates. Removed.

The public doesn’t share the Left’s fantasy that open borders magically produce harmony. They live in the real world. They lock their doors. They raise families. They want safe communities.

And despite years of propaganda, they still respect the men and women tasked with keeping those communities safe.

So the next time Democrats roll out another choreographed protest and insist it represents “the will of the people,” remember this poll. Remember the numbers. Remember the quiet majority that doesn’t chant, doesn’t riot, and doesn’t need a hashtag to know right from wrong.

  • ICE has public support.
  • Trump has public support on enforcement.
  • And the outrage industry just lost the plot.

Not because conservatives yelled louder. But because the truth finally showed up in black and white.
