You’d think Democrats might have some standards by now — a handshake, a background check, a quick glance at a LinkedIn profile — before handing someone a badge, a gun, or the keys to the Capitol.

But no. In the Democratic Party, apparently, criminal aliases, espionage history, and a flair for lying are exactly what you want in your IT staff, your security detail, and sometimes even your chauffeur.

In this latest example we have Jasmine Crockett.

Her personal security guard, known publicly as Mike King (but legally Diamon-Mazairre Robinson) was wanted on an outstanding warrant for impersonating a peace officer. This is a guy who ran a business called Off Duty Police Services, connecting off-duty North Texas officers with security jobs, while allegedly lying about being Capitol Hill police. Let that sink in. He was faking credentials to help people protect people — and he somehow got a gig protecting a sitting congresswoman.

Everything about this guy was fake. Hell, could this guy actually fight? Would he even react if someone flinched at him? Who knows, because I doubt if anybody checked.

They just hired him because, well…he’s a big black dude.

How many competent, law-abiding, non-resume-fabricating white security professionals did Jazzy pass over? Exactly none. Not a single one. You know she didn’t even interview a white guy with a squeaky-clean record. Why bring competence in that mix? It could embarrass the affirmative action security team already on the payroll.

But Holy Mother of Fani Willis, is that all King was hired to do? Because I would not be surprised to learn that King got hazard pay for “taking one for the team” with Oprah’s mini-me.

Democrats love their thugs.

King had a criminal record, aliases, theft arrests from 2009–2012, and an outstanding warrant. Aliases and theft arrests. Yet no red flags for Jazzy?

In the end, King barricaded himself in a vehicle at a parking garage at Children’s Health Hospital where the real police tear-gassed him. King pulled a gun then boom, he was shot dead by Dallas SWAT.

For months this thug worked a legit gig, trying to up his credentials. How fitting that a loser on her way out of politics was thought to be able to raise King’s profile. As it turns out, he’s as dead as Jazzy’s career.

If there were a Democrat Hall of Fame for bad hires, the District that voted for Jazzy and this guy would be on a golden plaque with Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s Muslim Brotherhood IT crew and Feinstein’s chauffeur-spy.

The Democratic Party has a long, storied history of surrounding itself with ne’er-do-wells.

Remember Debbie Wasserman-Schultz’s IT crew? Muslim Brotherhood connections, House network access, waived background checks — literally allowed into Congress by Democrats who thought, “Eh, no one will notice.”

Or Dianne Feinstein, whose chauffeur is rumored to have reported to Chinese intelligence for years. A spy under the nose of the Senate Intelligence Committee. Did anyone blink? Nope. Just business as usual. (Snopes)

And Eric Swalwell, sweetie, dating Christine Fang, the alleged Chinese agent — because nothing screams “national security” like a love affair with foreign intelligence.

So here’s the take-away: Democrats apparently have a hiring philosophy:

  1. Are you shady? Check.
  2. Do you have aliases? Check.
  3. Are you lying about your career history? Double-check.
  4. Are you competent, law-abiding, and white? Step aside.

It’s not vetting. It’s an audition for the Thug Olympics, and Jasmine Crockett just sent her entry form in with a flourish.

King represents the Democrat Party microcosm. It’s a clown show of lies, incompetence, naivete, and outright recklessness, where the only consistent metric is “how bad can we hire?” Thankfully, we don’t have Crockett around much longer, since Democrats shit-canned her sorry ass.

As for King, he got what he deserved. Given today’s political climate, you know officers gave the man ample opportunities to surrender. He took the “death by cop” out. I’m not mad at him. He saved taxpayers the cost of a trial and incarceration.
