Americans know that California is one twisted state. But allowing children to be sold for sex surprises even the most ardent Leftists.
I watched a video recently where an interviewer asked young Californians if selling children for sex was a misdemeanor or a felony. ALL the interviewees were surprised to learn that sex trafficking children in California is a misdemeanor. Many were outraged, and wanted this changed to a felony.
Make sense. So California State Senator Shannon Grove attempted to do just that. And Democrats “poisoned” her bill to kill it.

They attempted to exclude 16 and 17-year-old children.
So like with abortion, we are down to timelines. When is a child “eligible” to be killed, or in this case sold for sex.
Any thoughts from you? Do you have a timeframe when a person can be sold for sex? I’m going to offer a bit of common sense and say, “Never!”
Along with being the Party of Lynching of Negroes, Democrats are the Party of Pedophiles and Sex Traffickers.
Democrats rejected Bill authored by Sen. Shannon Grove to make the buying of children for sex a prison felony, and hijacked her bill forcing hostile amendments by denying Grove’s efforts to protect 16 and 17-year-old children from being purchased as part of commercial sex trafficking.
Under the amended bill now solicitation of 16 and 17 year-olds will remain a misdemeanor, punishable by as little as 2 days in jail or up to a $10,000 fine.
Grove’s bill would make solicitation, attempting to engage or engaging in sex with a minor for money a felony with a prison sentence ranging from 2 to 4 years, a fine not exceeding $25,000, and registration as a sex offender.
The bill would punish all those who solicit from a child, regardless of whether or not the person knew or reasonably should have known that the person solicited was a minor.
Do you really need to make this bill?
Consider how big the sex trafficking of children must be for somebody to have to offer a bill to stop such an abhorrent practice. Still, the Party of Pedophilia would tell you there’s no sex trafficking of children. Why address a problem the Left admits to no such problem?
Using that logic, we’ve learned that America’s Southern border is secure. Also, Joe Biden singlehandedly reduced violent crime all across America and cured cancer by uttering the phrase, “C’mon man!”
If we can only save one [insert cause here].
In this case, “If we can only save one child”? But does anybody believe Democrats want to save children? Or Blacks? Or women? Or anything?
