I’m always surprised by the number of people who believe Barack and Michelle Obama to be political power players.
Certainly they have some political and other influence. What president and First Lady doesn’t. But the idea that they are political power brokers is ridiculous. This is not my contention but a fact bared out by using only common sense.
For example, Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016, but no other candidates. Hillary lost and that’s with the fix being in.
Obama reluctantly endorsed Biden in 2020, but only after knowing the fix was in. That fix barely made it, and exposed the Democrats many mechanisms to cheat in elections.
In 2024, Obama is said to have orchestrated the coup against the man of whom he said, [pp] “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*ck things up.”
Now Obama reluctantly supports Kamala Harris. But the Obamas didn’t off their ringing endorsement of Biden’s VP upfront. Instead they waited until the cabal decided that Harris was the choice.
So now Obama backs Harris and how did that impact the polls? About like a butterfly flapping would impact a 777 jumbo jet at take-off. The result after the Obama endorsement of Harris via that canned call.
And if Obama is the secret weapon of Democrats then why hasn’t he been tapped to campaign for at-risk Democrat candidates? I searched for candidates asking for Obama’s help or where the Democrats asked Obama to campaign with him. I found none, save the endorsement of Harris. Why do Democrat candidates avoid Obama? Simple answer: Obama is toxic.
Even if Obama felt too elevate to help individuals, he could hold rallies in battleground states to help the ocean lift all Leftist Democrat votes. But Obama holds no rallies, and joins no campaigns. To do so would ruin his mystique.
The Black Vote
How big of an influence do the Obamas have over the Black vote? In a word, none.
If Obama is so influential, then why the massive shift of Black voters to Trump. If there were any time for Obama to show his prowess, the time is now. Yet, pundits predict Trump to get triple the black vote he got in 2020, over 20 percent. I predict Trump will get over 30 percent.
The Left wants him and Michelle to appear to be shot-callers. The Obamas are figureheads, like Biden’s role over the last four years.
Wealthy people who put him in place won’t cede their power to a dweeb like Obama. And let’s not forget that at the end of his term, the man was all but a pariah. He campaigned for Biden in PA to less than 20 people.
The media won’t dare show the crowd at this event. It was too embarrassing. Contrast this with Obama crowds when he campaigned 2008.
There is a reason they show you the crowd at this event.
Obama drew massive crowds in 2008. But then he stopped holding rallies. Why? He couldn’t draw enough people to fill a small church. By the end of Obama’s second term, nobody cared about him.
I searched for a video where Obama spoke at the UN, and it was embarrassing. Attendees were on their phones as he spoke. When he finished, only one man looked up and tepidly clapped. It was embarrassing for Obama, who folded his speech, put it back in his pocket, and slinked off stage.

Obama’s influence is just another Leftist fake news narrative, akin to Harris’ laughable massive popularity they spin these days.
IF you search “Kamala Harris” today, you might think she’s the most popular Democrat in the country. Yet only weeks ago, people said the opposite. There was even talk at one point of Biden replacing Harris by some on the Left.
Harris is universally despised by both parties. And the only reason why Democrats like her now is she represents their shot at beating Trump.
Like Obama, Harris is a minor political player by providence and not having earned it. Still, my beliefs won’t stop some Conservatives from conjuring a boogeyman to try to put people in a panic. Bad strategy.
The way to defeat Democrats is to destroy their strawmen; like Obama. Obama is a political afterthought at best, and a political punchline at worst. Destroy Harris with her own record and her own words.
