The Left pretend that Kamala Harris is so popular, and they brag about her massive donations. The astute among us know that ActBlue fraudulent raises money for the Democrats, and I assure you that it is not based on the popularity of Kamala Harris.
Truth be told, many of the mega-millionaires and billionaires who formerly supported the Democrats abandoned the party for two reasons: (1) Their lack of faith in the Democrats and specifically Harris, and (2) their new view about Donald Trump.
High-profile defections include Elon Musk, who has shown strong opposition to Democratic policies, and Douglas Leone, former managing partner of Sequoia Capital, who publicly switched to Trump. Others include Wall Street leaders like Stephen Schwarzman of Blackstone, who has resumed support after initially criticizing Trump post-January 6. These moves reflect a growing dissatisfaction with the Biden administration among some traditionally Democratic backers in the finance and tech sectors. And these former Democrat backers are no more enthused about Kamala Harris.
Known for his outspoken views on political and economic issues, Chamath Palihapitiya has increasingly voiced dissatisfaction with Democratic policies. He cites concerns over economic regulation and what he perceives as excessive government intervention. His backing of Trump marks a significant shift, especially as he once leaned towards liberal causes and progressive tech policies.
And while these high-profile billionaires have backed away from Democrats, it’s the less wealth but also far less obscure politicos that captured my attention. Below is a list of notables who have declined to contribute to Harris per the FEC:
Roland Martin
Black radio and TV host Roland Martin has not donate anything to Kamala Harris. He has been quite active in discussing Kamala Harris’s campaign, particularly emphasizing her efforts to address issues important to Black voters and promote what she calls an “Opportunity Economy.” In a recent conversation, Harris laid out her agenda, which includes initiatives like a $25,000 down-payment assistance plan to help first-time home buyers, aiming to make the American Dream accessible to more people. She’s also highlighted measures like the $6,000 Child Tax Credit for new families to support early childhood expenses, along with pledges to expand housing supply and increase support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Martin has provided a platform for Harris to voice her opposition to what she views as harmful policies from her opponents, and has offered her campaign an opportunity to connect more with voters concerned about these issues. Yet he has not donate one penny to her campaign.
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah has donated to the Hawaiians and supports many causes. She interviewed Harris, giving her access to the millions of people who follow her. Yet, Winfrey has not contributed to Harris’ campaign. Why hasn’t one of America’s most notable Black women supported Harris with more than an interview? Certainly there have been enough fundraisers thrown for Harris for Oprah to throw Sista Girl at least a dollar?
Hakeem Jeffries
Even more notable perhaps is the head of the Democratic Party, Hakeem Jeffries. Kamala Harris is now the Democrats’ nominee, so no handwringing over possible candidates who were left out in the cold. So, One would think that the man at the helm of the Democratic Party, a Black man would not miss the optics of supporting a “Sista” in her bid for the White House. Yet, according to the FEC, Jeffries has not donated one dollar to Harris.
Did Hakeem put his money on Trump in that Vegas line?
Barack Obama
More notable still is the man who (supposedly) led the country for 8 years. While Obama has taken to the streets to campaign on behalf of Harris, he has not given her one dollar. Apparently, Obama believes as Jay-Z stated: my presence is my charity.
The Congressional Black Caucus
Of the 60 members of the Congressional Black Caucus, only 4 of those demented Negroes have donated to Kamala Harris. What? Is she not Black enough?
Michael Eric Dyson
Perennial loudmouth for Democrat and race-baiter Michael Eric Dyson has the opportunity to put his money where his mouth is. And if you guessed that he has not donate a single dollar to Kamala Harris, then you would be correct.
Marc Lamont Hill
Along those same academic race-baiting lines, Marc Lamont Hill hasn’t offered Harris any love in the form of money.
That’s a lot of race pimps who one would think would have bucked up to support the potential first “Black” female president, yet their wallets are tighter than bark on an oak tree.
Adding diversity and inclusion to this list, I give you one more non-donor.
George Clooney
Perennial Democrat powerhouse and Hollywood A-lister George Clooney supports almost all Democrats and their looney causes. However, when it comes to supporting Harris, Clooney appears to say, “Harris? Who?”
According to FEC records, the man who has donated millions to Leftists hasn’t given a dime to Harris.
I assure you that this list is much longer.
Because Democrats talk a good game. But in their support of Harris, it’s mostly talk. They are relying on ActBlue to do the dirty work of pretending that people support Harris. The joy is definitely gone from the Harris-Walz campaign.
